We met at the Rendezvous, theoretically at 6pm, as the calendar says. We will meet EVERY MONDAY in JULY at 6pm at the Rendezvous to plan, cuzzin it takes a village to plan the world's greatest party. Ketchup bottles and candles served as attention-gainers in lieu of the gavel. Two birthday boys were treated nice, to free pickles and beer.

In order of appearance: BL (CQ DX CS [cycling via Hideaway]) DJ DS DR PJ EM JB KC TN ZH as well as Brandon L, Carly ?, and Jen L, who weren't allowed to listen to too many secrets soon discussed... Brandon did early request a very tiny shirt and #515 for his new live baby, Abigael L.

• Race Day
  VENUE Big Building, as last year, confirmed
  lighting was discussed as a (for a?) great deal, but was voted on as "nightmare" unanimous-like. Eat your carrots, you'll see. DS on Banquet permit, as usual, except we're going till 2 this year.
  SHIRTS/ART Sanmar, case price. DX on it, with odd help from SC, AL, CQ and DS. And Brent, who's signed on for doing water-bottle stickers again. The fabulous new library *still* has no functional color copier. Bastards. Sweet raw art has been faithfully thieved via black-and-white, scanned at the Counterbalance, and leaks slowly out. Did you see the flyer? Feel free to reproduce and distribute. Pole poster party in like 10 days, to get under the "only a month early" rule for Seattle postering.

  EVENT MASTERS-CQ has took it upon himself (with SC's help) to run the megamaphone and generally keep shit going, wants to coordinate with DS on band/event overlap, and maybe get a freakin' program via DX this year, detailing the evening's schedule.

  It was suggested that we should charge more than the standard twennydolla for race/beer/party/shirt, but methinks it was figured as so:
  $20 at the start gets you: shirt with YOUR number, bike bottle, river of hop-juice access, race, big party admission
  This is the good deal.
  $5 at the end gets you: admission to the best party ever
  another $5 at the end gets you: bike bottle, river of hop-juice access
  $20 at the table at the end (after you've dropped 5 to come in) gets you a shirt with yours or somebody else's number that's left over
• Grub
  ES has been talking mad shit about taco trucks, but fails again to report to race meetings. PJ has offered to kick him in the ass a little and figure something out, even if he has to cook it all. RA's name was raised, cuz he's done fine barbecue in the past.

People started leaving.

The meeting was adjourned with travel over to Shorty's for prospect ZH's pinball, and ranting and raving downstairs at the 'Vous. And of course some admiration of DBB's painting in the alley on the bay door.
