MEETING NOTES 042703
There should
be a calendar on the website, so
this material would be more organized. Baby Bill lives way the
freak up on the hill, ask the sturdy few who rode it. I was
afraid of the steepness as a mere car passenger. Notes taken and
transcribed by DK and DX, respectively.

#7
end site news-some drama about last year, with
clean-up inside feckless, clean-up outside lacking. And a
broken truck window. DS will once again undertake
securement, seems not a problem. Start-sites were
discussed on Beacon Hill, the Holgate hill was spoken of
fondly. Sponsorship shirts vs. race shirts discussed.
1-color MC-clubesque planning. More mediums decided,
dammit. There is some hope of us not pooch-screwing for
the bread, like last year. Everyone agrees to get our
sponsors treated right, early. *no official
vote taken*
- Next
Meeting
The next meeting was planned for Victoria Day, Monday
April 19th at the Rendezvous. Be there, slackers. We will
discuss race and stuff.
- Next
Ride
As if you didn't know, ride this freakin'
Friday, May 2, 2003. We will meet at the
Streamline Tavern in beautiful lower Queen Anne at 8pm.
121 Mercer? See the calendar.
- Talkin'
Prospects
Lauren and Cully should recieve colors if Chalo and
Nick F procure them from the the present color-holder,
Quigs, before (or immediately before) bestowal. Tim will
be checked for sewin' them on this month. AJ may return
from a long absence. There is still some difficulty with the
introduction thing of new prospects, lack of a
clubhouse once again trumping. "Meet&Greet"
was catchy enough sounding to get witten down as a way to
go your first month, once everybody knows you you'll
probably get colors. Glitter declared evil.
- CMWC
The Cycle
Messenger World Championships were briefly
discussed. More a soap opera update than anything else. A
Dead Baby run "Petting Zoo" of bikes, in a
corral-type dealie, where 50¢ is charged for rides, and
"No Falling Off!" is enforced in a
"safer" enclosed area. It was unanimously
decided to "make some money!" DK is ripe with
logo idea. NF has thrown into the ring, as well.
There was
sunshine, an icy cooler full of Luckys, a fridge full of PBRs,
and no good reason to leave. Damn near almost barbequed.
